Bad & Boozy Birthday!
Birthdays have always been my thing! I love to plan, celebrate & bring people together. It’s the one time a year that each of us celebrates our very own holiday! For unfortunate circumstances, many people don’t get a chance to live to see certain years of their life, and for that reason, I will always cherish each year that God grants me. Plus it’s the perfect opportunity for me to be around my loved ones and celebrate them for all of the extraordinary impacts they’ve had on my life.
For this years birthday I decided to take a trip to Haiti with 5 of my girlfriends, but before I get into the epicness that transpired on the trip, I have to talk about the amazing birthday dinner that my friends helped plan for me.
On my actually Birthday which is April 4th I had a nice relaxing day where I spent time reflecting and praying over my new year of life. That night I hosted my birthday dinner at Coya in Miami, a beautiful Peruvian Restaurant which décor was as exquisite as the uniquely crafted cocktails and food. If you are a foodie, then Coya is a must! As soon as I got to the restaurant I was surprised with the cutest Snapchat filter and cake that my friends Sabine, Keysha & Cassandra designed. Although I knew those three were up to something I wasn’t expecting for them to go all out like they did. I LOVE MY GIRLS SO MUCH! The snap filter was “Bad & Boozy” and it really complimented the celebrations! Now, let's talk about my cake! Oooo MY Goodness! It was pink & gold, featured my new logo and came equipped with a camera and a mic! It looked so good and hurt my heart to cut into it, but I’m glad I did because it tasted even better! Now I’ve had many fondant cakes in my lifetime, but baby that vanilla rum cake from @Luzmarscakes was out of this world! So soft, so decadent and tasted ahhmazing!!! Luzmars made my birthday cake with so much love and her hands are a gift from GOD! Thank You!
After dinner, we continue the celebrations where we shared drinks, dances, and laughs! Shout out to my big Cousin Nadege for making all of that possible! I was so happy to see all of my family and friends it was such a special moment for me and they really know how to make a girl feel special.
Thank you to everyone who made my birthday special with all of the messages, videos, gifts and calls! Love You Pumpkins!
